Saw a family out at lunch. Faces glued to screens. Backs hunched. Thumbs scrolling. No one spoke to each other. Swipe. Eat. Swipe. No one looked up. No one acknowledged the other. Then they left. Faces still on screen.

I see this a lot.. kids bringing their headphones and game controllers, at the table?!?.. Our family is not allowed to use any mobile device when we go out.

This is crazy! I see it more often than I consider healthy.

We have a strict no phone rule around the table. Regardless if it's at home or out.

Unfortunately the modern family is the childless and unmarried.

I personally find that more dangerous to humanity than a family of screen suckers.
