I find it so interesting that so many Bitcoiners are the sole people using #Bitcoin in their family and struggle so hard with their family and breaking through. While my family is not going to meetups or listening to endless podcasts or reading endless books on the subject, most all have at least purchased some and taken custody of it themself. I would be fascinated to know everyone’s current family dynamic on the topic.

I have found lots of pure cognitive dissonance in my family. There are so many problems, but we don't need to fundamentally change anything. The govt is an institution we HAVE to keep because of the "collective", but it shoukd only do the things they think is right. They see problems, but think govt is fundamentally right and more govt and fiat will fix it somehow. #psychology #mindgames #mentalgymnastics #clownworld #nostr #nostriches #bitcoin #plebs #plebchain

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve been getting more traction with the, “just put 2% into it” angle. That seems to resonate with their “balanced portfolio” framework of investing.

As far as the government stuff, I’m pretty fortunate in that my whole family thinks they are a detriment to society. Hard to see where I got it from…
