Same would of used p2p exchanges, understanding UTXOs and privacy makes this obvious in hindsight

yup. UTXOs and especially Sparrow helped my understanding of what happens during a transaction.

its a hard hurdle to even get to when people trip up over NYKNYC. ⚡️

I recommend running your own node behind tor to prevent IP and Xpub leaks.

Maybe look into Samourai Wallet as well.
