Too valuable. He has stated he wanted an AI company because he didn’t like what open ai was doing. Don’t see why he’d get rid of it already. It’s far too early and he has a data advantage. Elon is not the type to look for profit, he seems to have long term interests and vision.

X - communications, payment data, vehicle data, satellite data, probably internet data and who knows what he’s got planned. X also partners with vercel so he’s collecting data for development

I wonder if he would sell it for the right price? Apple’s behind and has a ton of cash. They’ll have to buy something if they want to catch up.
