Most of you know by now that Australia has one hell of a Housing Ponzi going on.
What you probably don’t know is that the houses in that housing ponzi are made of actual dogshit and paper mache - freezing cold in winter whilst baking like an oven in summer.
Foreigners are always amazed at just how god awful Australian houses are.
This is true. I’m in the cold country and it amazes me we don’t even normally have double glazed windows as standard.
I got some spending to do on my place to get it the way I want it on my new place
Having lived in multiple countries abroad and 2 opposite climate cities in Australia, both old and new homes in both, I feel the need to comment here. I cannot say I’ve lived in better ‘modern homes’ (built in the past 70yrs) overseas. I find it likely the quality of homes are a product of fiat, not of Australia.
The crappy building materials and the questionable workmanship are the result of broken money and a socialist gov.
