Dune: Part 2?
Anyone? I’m going to see it with the wife tonight. We still like the movies. 🍿
We’ve walked out of at least 2 movies this year though. Most have just fucking sucked.

It’s out? 😲🍿

The Fremen reminded me of the bitcoin plebs. 🐸
Tom luongo spoiled some parts about the story (from the books) on a pod not too long ago. And yeah, I can see how that could remind of plebs 😅
Be better Tom Luongo. wtf.
I'm not familiar with this guy. I'd appreciate a link if you remember that pod sometimes.
Thanks guys for the education. Managed to see this piece back from October, before the ETFs got approved. Will keep an eye on him, I find some of his theories intriguing. He appears as a gold bug mostly, but he speaks decently about the corn.
I have not seen it yet, but I definitely will be seeing it.
I’ll wait till it I can watch it on max
Go big or go home.
My home theater is more than sufficient.
That’s not the point. 3 months later you see it. Get out there with the people.
Live a little.
No

This thread is interesting. On one hand, the theater is fun (I think so, anyways) so I see Mcd's point. On the other, home theater with projector also sounds nice. And I can have buffalo chicken dip at home.
Which ones did you walk out of?
We walked out of the Scorsese indian movie.
Last one was American Fiction.
What a fucking mistake that was.
For real? I thought that might be dope 😂
Mistakes were made. And the people surrounding us were just clowns.
“Hahaha, so true so true. Hahaha. “
I wanted to hood the guy behind me & just start beating him in front of his smug wife. I didn’t. This is how my head works at times though. And then I must leave.
Lol, I recognise the emotion. 😂
Over the last 5 years my hit rate is about 2 good movie releases/yr. the rest are just awful.
Currently working my way through a list of top 250 movies listed on a popular review website.
Watched Once Upon a Time in America last night. Four hours long. Never dragged for a moment. And the cinematography was gorgeous. Characterization and story all interesting. People struggling with life and themselves. In one way or another, destroying themselves.
Likewise, saw Ikiru (1952) last week. Wonderful.
I liked Dune part one and sounds like the 2nd will be great. But honestly, I suppose Hollywood movies are made for normies, just corporate advertising/propaganda to a braindead masses. Analogous to Huxley's 'Soma'. Digitized. Digital soma.
Open sourced btc backed movies anyone?
I’m not walking out of a movie no matter how much it sucks.
I’m getting my satoshi’s worth!
Used to work in a theatre. You can ask for a refund and some will do so.
