I am not a big fan of cloudflare but I don't see the issue with using a free worker for a json file that is public anyway...
Because just like everything else that's "free," you are the product, and helping to expand their influence. Stop using them for anything before it's too late. They are already a significant threat to the whole internet as is. Stop expanding their reach.
