At this point in Nostr's story I think it's just effort. Find really high quality follow choices, or cultivate an absolutely absurd blocklist and browse the firehose that is global.
Thanks for the response. I started by following accounts with lots of followers to get a feed going. I'll try the global feed. Which client do you prefer? I've tried Snort, Iris, Primal and Yakihonne. (on PC)
So far I find Yakihonne the most reliable, but maybe that's because of the default relays.
I really like Amethyst, though I made sure to turn off the default security filters, since I didn't see a satisfying explanation for how they worked when I started using Amethyst.
I use Linux, so every desktop app is absolute trash, and I'm not a huge fan of Nostr web clients either. Sorry I can't provide a better recommendation that that.
yeah I dont really like any web clients either
except for satellite.earth
but its not really functional
but Yakihonne is great on mobile
You should give nostrudel.ninja a go if you haven't. My favorite desktop browser client.
