Plans for the cake baking extravaganza fell through because the power went out. Rescheduled for tomorrow, I'm not too upset because that means I can get a wash and block on the washcloths instead of just a steam.

I went full hyperfocus on alcohol, gas, and wood camp stoves for a while, so we have small-scale cooking licked.
