Its more like a hybrid wallet. If you use it with a separate signing device that keeps the keys separated then it is acting like a watch only wallet and your wallet is considered cold (or at least warm depending on how you handle the backups and how you inter-communicate with the signing device.)

Are you talking like a 2 of 2 multisig? One key on the phone and one being hardware?
I haven't made a decision about multisig or single-sig.
