I really don’t want to get into these things but a shooting star isn’t a star it’s a small rock entering our atmosphere and catching fire. Not like a giant nuclear gas ball millions of miles away ripping across space

I guess my question is if we are rotating on our axis, why does it look like nothing else is moving?

It does if you look for a long time

Geez can’t even post a pretty pic of the sky without online nerds calling it a flat earth and government made clouds…

My bad 😞

A full rotation of the nights sky from earths perspective takes about 26000 years… it’s why we have zodiac signs

Chat says a full rotation is 24 hours

So if the earth does a full rotation every 24 hours

I’m so confused 😕

There are different things rotating around different axises at the same time.
