Absolutely. Before him, we had a Jack Russell Terrier for 14 years. He was my little buddy 😭😭😭 But if I had to pick, it would be my Chocolate Lab. He's so damn loyal. I can take him for hikes and walks without a leash. He stays with me. He won't run off until I tell him he can. He won't go chase another animal until I tell him he can. And he always comes back as soon as I whistle or call him. My Jack Russell would have been long gone and only stopped when he got tired. This happened once. I was not impressed 🙄 This could also be because I was young and didn't train our previous dog as well. Anyways, I like to say that it's your dog's job to teach you how to love dogs even more so that when you get your next one, you're an even better owner and live them even more. 😭
