Flat earth is a fake conspiracy theory.

I believe it was invented by "some government agency" in order to discredit other conspiracy theories.

"Look at those crazy conspiracy theorists, they're clowns, they think the earth is flat, haha. OK now just believe the thing we're telling you instead. You can trust us *cough*".

I've literally witnessed that exact conversation on a TV news channel already.
