What is the point to copy-paste notes from other users instead of reposting or quoting? I noticed that everytime I join to new social network. I really don’t understand #asknostr #damus

Either someone wants to take credit for the post.
Or they're both stealing it from someone else on another platform.
Ok but if u scroll and u see that exactly note from 10 different users it’s annoying and useless. I mean, if i read a note that captures my attention i reply to it or quote it. If u copy-paste there is no sense. And the second question is, why u need to take credit of a notes that it’s obvious is not your? 🤣
Do you have examples? 10?
Today i see on my feed this note more than 10 times from many different users for example

Curate your feed. I didn't see it once. I searched and found two by the same person. I don't follow them, cause I don't care about that type of content.
Take some time to follow people you think are interesting, and follow people they interact with, and interact yourself, and make the most of the nostr experience.

First, if you only follow a small number of people you won’t see anything good. Start by following and interacting with the users that anyone who replies to you are also following, and you’ll see it improve quickly.
You also have low quality relays. I suggest you sign up for a paid relay such as nostr.land or nostr.wine and remove the nostr.lol relay. #AskNostr for suggestions on curating your relays better.

Your feed is all about who you follow. There is no algorithm. You are the algorithm. I like to visit someone’s feed and see that they have original content and not just a feed full of re- posts before following. I also like to follow npubs that are active in the comments that I come across. It takes time and effort but in the end it’s worth it for me anyways.
im not sure about that because i don’t follow anyone that post like like that. i know that make times to be clean the feed but it’s not my point. i just asked for the conversation why people do this kind of post that are completely useless. that’s it.
