If eggs shells are very strong, as in difficult to crack open, is that an indication of freshness (or anything)?

I buy regenerative pasture raised organic eggs and I noticed they require quite a bit of effort to crack open 😂.

That means the hen is getting enough calcium to make strong shells. When I dump out a bucket of restaurant scraps, my hens go for the crushed up egg shells first before moving on to prime rib fat ect...
