Bitcoin is the consensus based instantiation of digital scarcity and you are free to use it in any way within this consensus and be a part of our change throughout time ♾️🧡☯️

It's a permissionless protocol, so to each it is whatever they want it to be, within its capabilities.

But money is a ledger and the timechain serves as ledger so they're kind of the same.

Money is the signal, the rest is just noise. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Bitcoin is money, but it’s timechain can be used for many different things.

Why not both 🤷🏻‍♂️

From my point of view, money, value storage, digital gold, but my opinion doesn't have to say anything, someone else could see it differently / Peace

We need Bitcoin to function as money because we definitely need a new monetary system. However, the people in power within the current monetary system are doing everything they can to prevent this transition. They are willing to accept Bitcoin as an asset, similar to gold, which was once money but is now primarily seen as an asset. They hope that as long as the price of Bitcoin continues to rise, people will be content with this arrangement. It's unfortunate because we truly need a new system, and that can only happen with a new, robust, and equitable form of money, which Bitcoin has the potential to become.

Others have said it better.

Money. The time chain’s only use case will be as a public ledger for all nodes / miners to independently verify transactions.

the market will value its monetary attributes and value it as such

#Bitcoin(with B) is technology, blockchain and infrastructure, other side #bitcoin(with b) is money and reserve of value.

IMO it’s both

if you listen to Jason Lowry it is a weapon, but a weapon of defense only
