150 miles is plenty for most people on most days. For me, could drive to work 43 miles on Monday and 43 miles home on Wednesday or Saturday and with no gasoline bill. Just use the wife’s hybrid Escape for trips to either of the closest two main metros since they are both 75+ miles each way… but, we rarely need to go that far.

Can you charge at work?
Don’t think so, but have two pallets of brand new (old stock) Solar panels… only about 70-75% called for in current plans for array. So, have maybe a dozen or so spares, can use array for Bitcoin mining also. Just gotta get it set up, many other projects though that also are high priority… and then there is the time needed, since still mining fiat as a trucker. ;-)
