Looks like it has merit to me.
Not gonna work. Should be using one strap every 10' or 2500lbs. I'd also be tarping just to ensure the safety of the contents. So, I'm thinking for a house, they're gonna need at least 20 more straps.
Even if it did work, nothing is stopping another house from slamming into it
Reminds me of an old building at the top of Mt Washington (NH) that’s chained down due to very high winds.
How well is that staked into the ground?? Imagine how water logged that lawn is going to get...
