It probably should be on twitter AND nostr. It seems like it would have some mass appeal, and the masses are on twitter.
It would be a shame if twitterati had to click 1 fking button to check out the nostr npub…
Not sure what you mean. I'm not talking about bitcointwitter people, these people are irrelevant, I mean interesting people who are on wider twitter. If you want to communicate with white noise devs because it doesn't work (like it's not working for me now lol) then it's convenient to just do this without having to sign up to a nostr microblogging clone to do this. ( I am assuming this might be the first time some people will encounter a nostr client or have even seen the name nostr lol).
Yea because creating an account on nostr is soooooooo hard. And replying to a person is suuuuuch a foreign concept to everyone 🤦♂️
If I download a private messaging app and I want to just do a quote perfunctory task of troubleshooting, I'm not really going to also want to have to download yet another microblogging app just to do this one task. When they're already on twitter and most people are also on twitter. It makes total sense. It also makes total sense that they should also put their nostr link there too tho

We both know that. But someone totally new won't know that. They probably won't even know how easy it is. They may just want the private messaging app, not joining a whole new microblogging platform. It seems to make total sense to give out all options for this sort of company update/troubleshooting thing. Whatever people are already on. Twitter, nostr, Bluesky, whatever.
No need to add a another step.
And let the app speak for itself as a longer term advert for Nostr. It could bring in more people if it did have mass appeal.

Nah. Karnage is right. Don't go where the people are if you want your app to be successful. Stay exclusive to the niche micro-blogging protocol that has a user count that's a rounding error. That's the ticket.
Stop whining about the project not being reflected enough on Nostr ^^
