With all due respect, this whole protocol needs a shift, an update. Currently it is headed towards irrelevance.

The people have always and will always thirst for bravery and courage.

Somehow, some way this community needs to be known for courage. Without it, Nostr will top out at Bitcoin GitHub.

What is this place? Freedom-tech? What is freedom if it willingly lives within an unlocked cage? It is an even more shameful bondage.

To protect our egos we make all sorts of excuses. “Oh, people just want to chit chat… make friends… etc, it’s just so nice to be free.” It’s salt without saltiness.

Freedom looks like something. And we used to know what that was.

Notable Courageous Leadership on thee most important issues to humanity is the ONLY way forward.

This reality can’t be changed. It is what it is. I’m just reporting the news.

That's an assessment, not a news report.

This "place" is a tool. It's not a real place. You're essentially saying "This hammer needs an update. It's headed towards irrelevance. Somehow, this hammer must be known for courage."

Tools are not neural--tools change people. People's use of a tool can be sloppy or downright wrong. But don't confuse the tool for the person.

Sounds like you're placing an awful lot of importance on a group of tool-users that don't have real-world interactions. Energy is better focused elsewhere if you're concerned about effective leadership and real-world change.

It is timeless and inescapable.

The captive mind has endless excuses and comfort lending faux wisdom reasonings.

This place is a unique structure being used mostly in a common and unremarkable way.

If it is to last, it has to change.

It is what it is.

What is timeless and inescapeable? Empty platitudes do not affect meaningful change.

Big change happens by average people doing common and unremarkable things. You need to read some history, like the real Sam Adams did.
