TLDR? Been really cutting down on podcast time it’s never ending
Discussion
Australian grassroots movement that started in 2020. Just bitcoiners self organising small conferences, with presentations, KYC-free, v4v, in tiny country towns for 3 days. Always finishing with a big cook up (BBQ or Pizzas)
Same. It's only citadel dispatch or some dev discussion/talk nowadays for me. Strictly the chilled out ones who aren't up in arms about everything.
I don't want the political, macro, markets or economics stuff anymore. I rather just go to some lecture that will break down the basics and draw my own conclusions.
I feel you brother. This episode wasn’t about politics, macro or economics.
Oh no, my apologies if you thought it was referring to you or your suggestion.
I was just talking about my own preferences. Will check out the episode you shared if I get the time 👍
I feel similarly. Used to listen to RHR every week. Felt like I didn’t gain anything useful most of the time. Following current events is almost always just rage bait and the issues are typically forgotten after a week or two. I find that sticking to theories and concepts are much more useful. The info is more likely to help you over a long period of time in various contexts. On the other hand, current event stuff is mostly rage bait. Once I identify the psyop, I try to move on. I don’t care or need to break it down or analyze it. Charlie Kirk was a psyop imo but once I recognized that, I didn’t bother going down the rabbithole about why or how it came to be. I’ve seen videos of people explaining different angles and how another shooter must’ve been on campus blah blah blah. The small details don’t matter they just waste your time. And life’s too short for me to waste more time on rage bait and psyops.
Yeah that's well-put
It's a shame that devs and tech folks, like Bitcoin++ organizers, think nobody watches their stuff and decide not to invest much in production of better quality videos.
It's difficult to discover them or share them as well as a result.
