Back in the medieval times, when you didn’t have enough gold or silver, you couldn’t pay your armies and they would eventually simply stop fighting for you.

The incentives for your kingdom to be well off aligned with your ability as a ruler to acquire more wealth for your nation. More gold > bigger armies > more land > less tax on commoners > happier people.

Now we just print money out of thin air, dilute everyone’s savings and purchasing power and make everyone unhappy. No additional wealth going to war, just more debt. The few at the top benefit and so do the contractors but everyone else is screwed, either physically or financially.

What’s more, if you waged war and failed, you had a high chance of being deposed and paying with your life.

Today’s rulers have no consequences. In fact, it only benefits them when they leave their throne.

You know what we should bring back, right?

Also any king was on the battlefield himself

Yep, some even charged first. Ah, imagine our presidents on the battlefield 😌

Napoleon might have been the last one to do that, not sure

i would pay worthless fiat to see fat donny do it.

…and now we have a so called civilization where most even don’t know what courage is

100% right. Bitcoin will curb all these pointless wars.

I think it's much worse than, now with democracies politicians and all the parasites around them have the incentive to destroy the nations they govern. Only 4years to exploit and no longer term view as kings to leave a stable, rich and peaceful kingdom to his offspring. Plus now the ideology of democracies is that there are too many of us and it's harder to govern us all, so their solution is population reduction. And according to them is better to kill those more intelligence capable of understanding their ideas and plan, and now they know who those people are.
