I recently that we needed a Nostr plugin for WordPress for both comments and for automation of posting articles. WordPress now has this for ActivityPub.

Interesting, I definitely think it's about time to reimagine WordPress from scratch taking into consideration ActivityPub, Podcasting 2.0 and Nostr, with an emphasis on Nostr. Having a website these days is bit like building a business out in the middle of nowhere without any roads or signs. The HTTP protocol is limited and there is a lot of benefit is discoverability with protocols like Nostr.

It was. Automattic just acquired the plugin and baked in support for WordPress.com (their own hosted version) not to be confused with their public repo at WordPress.org
