When winning, we develop internal locus of control; when losing, we tend to be with an external locus of control.
I don't buy this for 2 reasons.
1. I would totally gloat and be a smug prick in monopoly or another board game but as soon as that context ends I'm not like that. It is part of the fun of playing a game to go into a different context and be a different person for a bit.
2. I'm rich because I'm genuinely better at everything than those filthy poors.

Staying humble is the hardest part.
Experimental design is really bad. Almost as if it was designed to reinforce a preconceived conclusion.
Did they even double-blind? Control group?
