Decisions..... Decisions. I am currently running a voltage cloud node as well as my start9 embassy node. I had better success routing payments with my voltage node but not nearly enough to justify the $23 dollars a month that I have to pay voltage for hosting fees. I must say nostr:npub15klkdfx9sh3y096a5jf895rcvkmkzvly2fm9dgxq6huqhp9576jsav4m73 Has been reliable AF. I do believe a reliable node is a necessity for building and integrating bitcoin into business strategies. Do I pay the fees as a trade off for the ultimate reliability? Or Am I better off investing in building my own robust system using a cpu larger than a Raspberry Pi?

I would (and I do) look towards building a small k8s cluster (Ou.can start with 1 machine) and use Intel NUC or similar. Those may even be cheaper than RPIs those days 😉

For the cluster, I suggest lurking around the talos.dev project.

You will do MUCH more with that than with a bunch of RPis.
