Proton is SWISS-based, not Swede-based. Still not a good sign for privacy in Europe.

This seems to be a new trend. I don’t know if the EU/Apple tomfoolery was the catalyst, but they do seem to be ramping up their anti- privacy measures which seems somewhat out of place for them.
