A feature I really like on Twitter is the ability to tack on a subtweet under one of your tweets, and it automatically converts the post to a thread, and boosts the whole thing up to the top of your feed

Is there a reason why Nostr clients haven't implemented this?

Being able to write as long of a note as you want is cool and all (and being able to view it long-form with chronological text, videos, popup links, etc. like nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcqyz4fq3ej2cpa4n20s9pqjdt8ju6kdh3mrcs2392hku5v80jvd2zyk8p4hdy is even cooler), but sometimes a thought pops up later and it fits just perfectly as a subpost to your original note

Right now, the only way to connect a new thought to an old one is a Quote Repost (replying to the post is useless as it doesn't boost it up to the top of the feed). This isn't ideal, because sometimes you want your new thought to be read AFTER the original thought by the reader, in the same order you thought it

Am I making sense? And #AskNostr do y'all also wish this Twitter feature were here on Nostr?

You could post a comment and then create a brand new note that links both the initial post and then the comment under it. That way the main post would be read first.
