Schools deal directly with sponsors.

Love it! But most schools would lose viewers.

However I do think this is an inevitable trend.

net gain on college sports viewing, more money for schools without middle man

how do we make it happen? Will it just organically occur?

start with a sport and a school that doesn’t get any network airtime and everyone zap the hell out of it

Everybody who makes any content will self-distribute in the next decade
