I saw all :)) “A new hope” was 1st, I was 5-6 years old, and I saw it on a pirated VHS tape, low quality… few days later I saw “The empire strikes back”, same way! It was at one friend house, his father was an actor and had the possibility to bring a VHS player, semi-illegal, from abroad :))
If it was possible to not get caught then it was legal 😊
