8 years ago today, one of my closest friends died in a motorcycle accident. He would have loved Bitcoin and eventually came around to Nostr. He loved working on cars and saving for his family's future. He was a very hard worker. He was always working side jobs or side businesses or even day trading while we were at work together.

He left behind a wife and two boys under the age of three. I always made sure to go visit her a few times a year and play with the boys. They always enjoyed the "rough play" that they were missing from their life. His wife remarried this past year. He reminds me of my friend. I'm happy for her. She was not in a good place for a very long time after his death.

I always visit his grave every year on this day. It needs to stop raining outside so that I can go tell him about Nostr.
