I asked my barber today to accept #bitcoin, offered to pay 20% extra. She said no, thanks but no. Claiming to be too old for that shit.
I asked her if she 10 years ago thought she'll be using smart phone today on daily basis... I'll let her think about it.
I guess the reason for that was not so much the age factor but the general unawareness of bitcoin and its benefits (but also a quite high entry threshold due to lack of technical knowledge for the average Joe).
But I hope it will change the more people use it for instant payments (Apple Pay style). Lightning makes it possible already.
