I’ve been using noStrudel a good bit nowadays. What are the main benefits/features of the next version? I can prob do some testing.
I'll have to check next but the main site is showing streams that don't exist or have been offline for days/weeks. Also, stream chats aren't added to the stream goal. probably missing a tag (e or a tag something)
The stable version has some bugs with loading replaceable events. The next version might be a little better but might still have the buf
Great, thanks for the reply. It would be also nice if one could disable the display of zappers and the amount below notes in settings. I think it clutters the screen a little (too much info) so being able to hide it would be great.
Do you mean an option to hide all zap related stuff on notes or just the zap tags on notes?
I'm a little hesitant to make an option to hide a small part of the UI and not a whole feature
The individual zaps being displayed below notes. Which can be a lot of people. I like the current display better..total amount zapped.

When using the next pwa, at launch sometimes it only shows 1 note and I have to click to another tab and back to notes for it to properly load more notes. Doesn’t happen to me with the stable pwa.
Browser: librawolf agressive protections, FireFox in strict mode
Issue: Clicking a note or a notification will cause the right-hand drawer to open, but with a transparent background and it's "z-index" is lower than the current page disallowing clicks. The main page content is still active and usable, but the drawer is in the background
Issue2: sometimes next.nostrudel gives me and error "unknown account type" with my nip07 signer when I go to sign an event. The signer is loaded and I have the script injected when the application starts, but window.nostr is added sometime during page loading. This is not an issue I have on the current nostrudel.ninja app. (I had to submit this note using the current version because I couldn't send it on next)
This may just be a me thing because I use such locked down browser settings. But I wanted to bring attention in-case it's not just me.
I'm not sure I can fix the z-index issue since that seems to be caused by the Firefox settings. But I'm going to add an option in the settings to disable the drawer. Should make things feel snappier
I think issue 2 can be fixed by logging out or clearing the cache. I did some changes to accounts a while back and added a "type" field.
So if you logged in before the update the local account wouldn't have a type

I was wondering how well it should work as a PWA (on mobile) and can I use Nostr Connect for signing events?
Its my main mobile nostr client and it kind of works. Its a little slow though
I’d love to use noStrudel as my daily driver but on iOS the buttons at the bottom are too close to the home bar for it to really be useable.
Common iOS PWA issue. 
I'm not sure how to fix this, isn't this an issue with IOS not sizing the app correctly?
I guess I could add padding for them but then I would have to detect if its an iPhone and I don't know if all iphones have this issue :(
I think it is an iOS issue because android is fine. The only other PWA I use is LNBeats and they added padding at the bottom to fix this.
Just something I wanted to point out. 
Can you also check my PR on the blossom server? Fixes an issue where the incorrect HTTP status is returned on the has_blob endpoint

my alby wallet balance is displayed in settings on the stable release, but with nextStrudel it is just says connected
This is intentional, since the NWC button is hidden in the settings its not very useful to show the balance. and it kept prompting the the alby extension to unlock and ask the users permission as soon as the app opened, which is really bad UX :)
with next I'm noticing more missing user profile info in my notes timeline compared to the current release. Has this been reported before? If I click the user profile it appears
I think I just pushed a change today that fixed a performance issue but introduced a bug that made the profile loader get stuck :(
also noticing that clicking notifications in the sidebar does not show notifications for the current date. it will jump to current date if refresh the page. It would be nice to have an option to see a list of notifications as well.
