That's a tough one. It's taken time for my wife and I to find common ground on some of that stuff. It's a tough time to be real. A lot of shitty narratives out there seperating people
And a lot of women have been conditioned by society to not be tolerant of opposing opinions. Mostly because men will say whatever they need to say in order to sleep with them. So when they are in a context that provides anonymous communication and uncensorable communications, a whirlwind of aggression attacks them like they’ve never experienced before lol
Seems like you're in denial of how nostr's community is full of shitty people who drown out the good right now.
They have no reason to stay in a place with no network effect helping them find their people.
You're accusing them all of being thin skinned when you don't know how many of them would be fine with the attacks as long as there were also enough good people mixed in.
Do you mute people? You don't know how many of them wouldn't even mute anyone once they got used to the idea that it doesn't stop them from replying anyway.

On amethyst I don't think you can see who has you muted. I wonder if there is a way to reference the "muted list" as a way of self reflection. Maybe they are bots(not sure why they would bother), maybe their racist/bigot or other type person, or maybe a they just find the person annoying.

You can see muted lists on Nostrudel. I muted that guy because he was annoying and being a douche. A lot of people also have him muted as you can see on his list 😂
