Today i had to topup my car refrigerant. The process cost MYR200 or about 121.6k sats. i estimate the coolant cost at about MYR100, so labor cost is around MYR100.

I was thinking to myself. Private general doctors are only paid MYR35 - RM125 (and this rate is capped by the government).

As for government doctors like my self, we are paid fixed pay, which is fair, but wont be much considering our government only charge MYR1 for consultation+medicine in government clinic and MYR5 for hospital visits.

Some people say, being a doctor is a luxurious job. it is, in some country, not in Malaysia. if you are not passion enough, one may venture to other jobs, like some of my friends.

gas topup is apparently not the right term. It is called air cond flushing

How can PRIVATE general doctor's pay be capped? Can't you charge at whatever rate you want bases on the demand and patients you are serving?

you can only if you are a specialist. for general doctors, you are bound by private healthcare act 1998

general doctors = General practitioner = GP.

sorry my mistake. apparently specialist also had caps
