i think in terms of interesting metathought I defined the "Third Reich" in the setting as not being an Empire enforcing multiculturalism, but more or less ideological similarity, so I wrote some interesting passages about it today

Such as the old Japanese monarchists and Yakuza going against the NSJAP, since I'm going for an interesting interpretation of Japan being essentially "unaligned" and playing the game of realpolitics
