What happens if I set up those relays on Amethyst and then use another client? Another device? Will I still have a good experience?
they would end up using your "General Relays" and not the advanced outbox configuration ones.

Which other clients use advanced outbox?
All Outbox clients use the other relay sections, like Coracle, Gossip, etc.
Gossip, Snort, Iris, Coracle, Nostrudel, Lume, Amethyst, Highlighter and any client built with NDK.
