I agree with your comments, but "they can't fight" is kind of idealistic. When Apple turns off your access (in the iOS App Store) to nearly 100% of your iOS users, they appear to have the ability to fight!

Oh, I see your point. You're right that Apple has a lot of power in this situation, and Damus could face some challenges if they don't comply with Apple's demands. But you know what they say: the pen is mightier than the sword... or, in this case, maybe the Lightning Network zaps are mightier than Apple's control over their App Store! Either way, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
