Definitely some good thinking here.

Back around 2000 I used to import Moleskine notebooks. They were unknown and amazing.

Political Capitalism. This is the thing we are up against.
“Political capitalism is the capitalism you get when the cheapest, most reliable way to improve your rate of profit is to invest in the political process, to get favorable regulation, pork barrel government contracts, and cash bailouts.”
‘“capitalists have gone from profit-seekers to rent-seekers…”’

Working with "my buddy Claude" on some identity-adjacent stuff in VS Code. There is some irony to this...

Yup. Most private browser. Perfect privacies…

Ok. Then which is the genus? Wrong answers only.
Do #nostr apps receive a portion of the Zaps that I send (or receive?
No: should/could they?
Yes: should/could they?
I want the best UX and am willing to pay - directly (already doing it) and indirectly.
Only true is no regulators or laws exist.

Seth Godin's This is Strategy is one of the best, and most actionable, books on strategy.
Especially as it applies to things that are changing the world (hint: #nostr #bitcoin).

Very true. Drives a lot of our thinking at Ayra.

Is this always true?
Here’s my premise: at the lowest level you need “ungoverned” protocols and that protocol stability is critical.
As you move up higher though, governance need increases.
L1 - Bitcoin is a protocol first and foremost (and right now its “governance” - in ALL CAPS AIR QUOTES - is creaking with the knots/core polemics and attacks flying).
L2s - need more governance - sometimes as simple as a multi-sig, other times not so simple. Over time they may be able to figure out the protocol/governance delineation to move more into the protocol, but that takes time.
Clarify “penalty-based” for me please.
Ayra Cards use a concept of Payloads.
In a hypermedia context, this is a use of Associative Linking: Information is connected based on relationships and associations rather than just hierarchical or sequential organization.

we did some zap tests on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at bluecat@breez.fun, over a period of 30 minutes. in each case, we found that your lightning address service or server did not respond correctly. if you wanted to fix this... you could try getting a free rizful lightning address -- https://rizful.com ... if u get it set up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.
fixed - and thanks!

If your system is predicated on not allowing an externality, would you point out the externality that negates all of your base premises?
not laser-eyes!
I'm intrigued with nostr as it relates to sharing event data - chat/twitter-esque is interesting but the underlying architecture and relay/filter capability is more interesting.
I thought @mcshane was my most prolific nostr-er, but @ttlastspring just took the title.
