Do Americans see Canadians as foreigners?
Discussion
For-eh-ners
This is how I think we see Canadians. More like our drunk neighbors than 'foreigners':

I never thought of Canadians that way. I was super surprised when i was young that we needed a passport to go to Canada. I think Canadians need to make make more noise tell everyone to eat poutin sorry if its spelled wrong hahahahahaha
Kind of like an annoying little brother.
Yes, and more so everydayโฆ
I don't think most even think about it. Like in movies, TV, etc they don't know who is and when they hear it, it passes. Doubt most can even find Quebec or Ontario on a map.
I do (if they don't live or work here). But that term can be broad. I generally apply it to nations. It could probably apply between US states though. California is foreign to me.
I consider people foreign when this place is foreign to them. That makes sense to me. But if a Canadian lives near the border and travels here frequently (especially if they have family or work ties here), I don't consider them foreigners. That's just my loose usage of the term though.
Lol Americans dont think about Canadians
No, I think most see it as a large liberal
northern state. Like an inverted Texas for the north.
But North America would be much more interesting if it were divided into many small regional kingdoms like medieval Europe. Probably would have happened if the American, French, and Mexican revolutions all went the other way.
I don't.
Do Americans see Israelis as foreigners? ๐ค
Yes, you're foreign.
Yes, especially if theyโre hosers
