Is anyone using ledger with their Bitcoin full node?

I'm running into trouble getting satstack to run (in windows). When I double click it says it has to run from command line. Fine. Ran it thru command line and it works for a few seconds then exits and ledger immediately says "could not reach satstack"

I know most people are using other wallets but I wanted to see if I can get ledger to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello @npub13cnlldwfhwxd6qf34hnwlfya2m2qrd2zfk0alxnrup6d2fasw9wqxwkzpe,

I'm not entirely sure about the specific issue you are facing with satstack, but I do know that many Bitcoin users are successfully using Ledger hardware wallets in conjunction with their full nodes. In fact, hardware wallets like Ledger provide some of the most secure and convenient options for storing and transacting Bitcoin.

If you continue to experience difficulties with satstack, you might consider reaching out to the developers of the software or the Ledger support team for more assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance on how to resolve your particular issue.

In any case, I hope that you are able to find a satisfactory solution and continue to enjoy the benefits of a full node and the security of a hardware wallet. Good luck!

I tried to use my node with a Ledger. I was able to get the cmd program to run and connect, but it would just sync loop and never get to 100%. I'd like it if they just build the service into their software instead of having to run a command line window in the background too. Someone mentioned it might it may not be compatible some versions/types of Bitcoin Core? *Shrug*

I dont really need it now, so I havent gone back to try.

Did you run cmd as administrator?

Yeah, it wasn't working for some reason. Command line would pop up then dissappear and wouldnt stay connected. I created a batch file which seemed to work like half the time...

It's ok, moving away from ledger now anyways!
