There are ways obfuscate your transactions, but the majority of users aren’t using those rails at the moment.
I mean that zap info is stored on different relays, I think. You might not be connected to the same ones he is. No obfuscation necessary

Who knows. I trimmed my follows count down a bunch recently because I was drowning in a stream of redundant content. Maybe he’s one of those guys that likes a highly-curated feed.
