When I’m using my #Masrodon client @openvibe OpenVibe, my IPhone 15 pro becomes very warm after some minutes of use.

Is this a 5G thing? No, I’ve switched 5G off (there is a fallback to 4G) and my phone still gets very hot.

Anybody else having similar issues?

I say issues because I can’t imagine this is healthy for the battery and other internals of my phone 😅 🤔

It's probably just nostr things. Cant speak specifically to that client, but right now all clients have a lot of work cut out for them in terms of power consumption and reducing network activity for those with bad ISPs. It's going to be a difficult road.

it was the same with plebstr (ex openvibe) and some other clients, it heats up the phone
