This applies especially to Catholics. The average IQ of Catholics tends relentlessly toward the mean because of our preference for celibacy and the sheer, massive size of the population and the global breadth of the Church.

That doesn't mean than any particular Catholic can't be highly intelligent.

I think if god /gods exist, then him/they prefere you not to believe then believe in wrong one.

So from my point of view believe has greater risk :)
