Texas

Ever been to Australia? 🇦🇺 🦘 🍤 🔥

New Hampshire

I’ve thought about this too, but am choosing to stay and fight, for now. I don’t know you but I follow your feed: Canada is better with you here, for what it’s worth.

I appreciate you!

As Jack Spirko would say, It Depends. There is a great variety of temps/climate. Here in Texas we have very hot summers, but mostly mild winters. Texas has national forest, all the way to desert areas, and everything in between. As long as you stay out of the big cities, the folks are generally great.

It depends on your priorities. You can’t have all the freedoms, so which ones do you want most?

My top priorities are self-defense and homeschooling and I want to live somewhere mountainous and temperate, so Tennessee and West Virginia are my top picks. North Carolina is another good choice that was top of list until I learned more about those two.

Florida is another excellent choice if you want heat and humidity instead.

If you want to help the libertarians on the “have all the freedoms” thing and don’t mind cold, New Hampshire is a promising choice.

Depends on what you want. Cold / Hot? Urban / Rural? Mountains / beach / plains / desert / tropical?

The US is a big place

Warm. Freedom priority

Idaho is an often overlooked choice with lots of natural beauty and is more sane than most IMO.

Texas.

Been and lived all over. West coast, Midwest, east coast…

Everyone has different preferences but for us, nothing has beat Texas. Amazing place to lay down roots.

What city or town? Want to research a bit. Thx.

We are about 40 min west of Austin - would check out Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, Spicewood - those areas. It’s like country living-light lol. No light pollution so you can see the stars, got land, close to outdoor stuff, super safe…but are close enough to things you need and Austin if you want to go into the city. Feel like it’s a good spot!

Thank you.

Austin is really amazing if you're outdoorsy and like swimming in the summer to escape scorching heat from June until mid-October.

The avg home price/avg salary ratio is 9 in Austin (similar to some West Coast cities) versus 2.5 in San Antonio and 4.5 in Dallas. Houston is somewhere on the affordability scale between San Antonio and Dallas.

Texas has a way of growing on you.

Agree! Moved to San Antonio in 2016 and lived there up until moving a bit north and it's grown on us quite a bit...going to miss the Mexican food here...

Washinton state doesn't have any state income tax, supports gun rights and doesn't care how you dress or if you're gay. It's rare to find that many freedoms in a single place. It's certainly more free than Texas or Flordia. And it's way warmer than it should be for being that far North.

Wyoming

Can't imagine living in any place else now but Texas or Hawaii. Texas has the King ranch and the four 6's (6666).

Hawaii has the Parker ranch. The two biggest and finest in the world in my opinion..🤘🤠🌺

Idaho - Boise area, super family friendly and safe. Texas - I like the weather, plenty to do, good food. 80 degrees today :). Drivers are terrible, I think I’d like to be in a less populated area I’m 30 minutes from Houston currently.
