I got it working. If it happens to you check the Tor setting and turn it off. Perhaps Tor does not work atm with Amethyst? Shame if so. Like that feature. Makes me sleep a little better.

Could the tor network be spotty ? I have been experiencing issues when trying to connect to my node via tor.
