He's not the first prisoner to have back problems, and pain problems. I would expect to see him treated the same as anyone else in his position, and not be given special treatment due to the sensationalism surrounding his case. I think it's important to note that his back problems don't seem to have stopped him from exercising, participating in yoga, or backpacking around world. I'm not discounting his pain, but it doesn't appear to be generally debilitating.
