Just learned that an OIT colleague is arguing that we should refuse to call it "generative AI" and instead call it "derivative AI", because a) accurate, and b) of the negative connotations of derivative. Makes sense to me....
The 'AI' in the name remains the biggest problem, as it is a complete lie (and impossibility)
