nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg any way to send on chain to mutiny wallet and open your own channel manually? It might be possible already and I'm autistic. If its not possible any future plans of incorporating?

Yes you can. Though I have had problems with more than 1 channel force sweep closing on me.

Once you send funds to on chain address there is a symbol on the far right side of the on-chain bar. You press that and select the amount of sats to open a channel with.

I would highly recommend opening a 1mm sat channel.

Thank you. Yea you can swap to create a channel but I want to be able to manually pick who I open a channel to and pick the channel open transcation fee rate not sure that is possible?

I’m not sure that feature is available yet. If I had on chain funds in mutiny I would look into it for you.

Appreciate it I'm not seeing it. I was just checking to see if maybe option buried in settings but doesn't seem like its available unfortunately hopefully one day.

There's an option in the admin tools to open a channel with any node if you connect to it first. It's better if you remove the LSP though so you fully take advantage of the manual channels for sending and receiving. But you'll lose all automated channel stuff and will need to manually manage channels yourself from here on out.

I figured something in more advanced settings had to have the option. Thanks for the reply going remove the LSP now and figure it out. Thanks for the help.

Was playing around with it today. Removed LSP. I added some peers go to on chain to swap to open channel and keep running into this error every time on multiple peers. I cant get it to successfully open a channel unfortunately

The logs might have more info but odds are it could be minimum channel size. Lots of nodes have cranked this up a ton.

Yup that was the issue. I looked up my peers min channel open and it was more than what I was using. Thanks

How did you look it up? Is there a list or something? Usually it's not public until you try.

https://amboss.space/ used that not sure if all are accurate but for my peer seems like it was. Search node and bottom of stats says min channel size.

For example this is what they show for strike
