You should be able to choose if you want received zaps to be anonymous or public.
The sender can choose too as long as it doesn’t violate your preferences, but I think we got the priority on privacy backwards on this one.

Yeah we can zap anonymously on Damus as well. But if someone zaps me publicly there’s nothing I can do to make it private, it’s just out there in public now.

Naw, if I zap you publicly, it will show up on all clients as public. You can’t require that people only send you anon zaps.
