Was looking at this map yesterday. Wondering what it means in the context of changing political climate. Also curious why Florida doesn’t have permitless carry.

Overlay with open carry laws too. I’m in VA, and anyone can open carry without permit.
Exactly. It's better if it's constitutionally protected (particularly somewhere like VA), but it doesn't meant they don't have permitless carry.
I just came back from TX and FL, and I had this exact same conversation about the false idea that FL is a pro-gun state just because they're (currently) republican. All those NY votes aren't free.
I'm a fan of permitless carry
What's the date on the map? July 1 2023 the adopted permit less carry https://www.pnj.com/story/news/local/2023/06/29/florida-concealed-carry-law-starts-july-1-here-are-the-rules/70369342007/
Thanks! This exception seems rather silly…
FL has permitless carry as of July 2023
search the hashtag WTFflorida and you will find out.
also google how parasites made the south a bit "slow" and
the frogs are turning gay.
Many states also have permit less open carry. Many states that seem “blue” have open carry while many states that seem “red” don’t. But most “blue” people have such little experience with guns, they will lose their shit and think you are a crazy if they even see a gun, let alone understand that a visible holstered firearm is the safest place for a gun.
